PGICA Newcomers Club
Our mission is to help PGI residents feel more 'at home' and comfortable in their adopted bit of paradise.

Application Members Only
The Newcomers Club offers activities for PGI residents who are members of the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association. You can join Newcomers if you have recently moved to PGI full time or part time, or even if you have lived here for years. You just need to have the desire to have fun and meet some new friends.

The PGI Civic Association sponsors the Newcomers Club to help PGI residents feel more comfortable in their new home in Paradise. The Newcomers Club has a General Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month at the PGI Civic Association at 2001 Shreve Street at 5:30 p.m. Meetings usually include a speaker on a topic of interest to Newcomers, announcements of upcoming club activities, and a 50/50 drawing. A social hour follows with either pizza or a pot luck dinner. Everyone brings their own favorite beverage (BYOB) for themselves.

Monthly meetings are open to members and guests. To participate in other activities, you must be a member of both the PGI Civic Association and the Newcomers Club. Membership for the Newcomers Club is $25 per household per year.
